Mission Statement:
New Covenant School provides excellent and diverse education for all our students from different ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. We groom our students to be masters at the principles of acquiring knowledge and exploring creativity. New Covenant School equips students with a strong foundation of Godly values rooted in the Christian faith.

New Covenant School (NCS) is a low-cost Christian private school established in 1989 by Dr. Lizabeth Nana Otoo Forbes with the mission to provide quality education to children especially the underprivileged. As a result, the school is located in the Serekunda area, a high density populated area in Gambia. This location was chosen to target low-income families. Despite their financial constraints most of these families are determined to educate their children and we are committed to helping.

NCS is located at two campuses. The Nursery School and Lower Primary School (1 – 3) is located at the Serekunda Campus. The Upper Primary School (4 – 6) and Junior High School is located at the Fajikunda Campus.
​
In 2012, the founder of NCS passed away leaving the school to her only child, Ms. Njillan Forbes now the proprietress of the school. The founder's former work colleague and good friend,
Mr. Baboucarr Sarr oversees the affairs of NCS​ and provides effective leadership focusing on excellence and integrity.

Greetings Parents and Students,

I was elected as PTA Chairman and I wholeheartedly accepted the position in good faith as I strongly believe parents have a significant role in the success of students and the school.
Since the inception of the PTA, the executive members have been highly supportive to the management of the school in various ways. One of them being, helping the school relocate from Piccadilly Campus to the new Fajikunda Campus. New Covenant School has great potential, which is evidenced by a high number of outstanding performing students.

Two of my daughters currently attend New Covenant and they perform extremely well with the support of the dedicated teachers as well as family support. My first daughter, a graduate of New Covenant School is now studying at the University of the Gambia. I am very grateful to this school and I am happy to give back.
